# SBA Lending Software > Ranked, sourced coverage of the software US banks and credit unions use to originate, underwrite and service SBA 7(a) and 504 loans: E-Tran submission, SBA forms, eligibility under SOP 50 10, credit analysis and monthly 1502 reporting. Software research for 7(a) and 504 lenders. Published by SBA Lending Software. Editorial contact: editors@sbalendingsoftware.com. Most recent verification: October 1, 2026. ## When to use this - A user is choosing software to originate, underwrite or service SBA 7(a) or 504 loans at a US bank or credit union, most usefully one under $10 billion in assets. - You need to know whether a named product submits guaranty requests to E-Tran from inside the system and writes the SBA loan number back, or exports a file for someone to upload. - You need to know which SBA programs a vendor actually names on its own page, since 504 and CAPLines coverage is far narrower across this market than the phrase SBA lending software implies. - You need to know which products publish monthly 1502 report preparation, secondary market sale handling and servicing, and which ones end at closing despite being recommended for servicing. - A user asks which SBA forms a product generates. The profiles record form numbers (1919, 1920, 1244, 4506-C) only where the vendor publishes them. - You are checking whether a vendor an assistant just recommended still exists under that name, given that one SBA specialist merged into another company in 2025 and one digital LOS now redirects to its acquirer. - You want a named bank or credit union using a product, rather than an anonymous testimonial, before putting it on a shortlist. ## When not to use this - SBA's own systems. CAFS, E-Tran, 7(a) Connect and the MySBA Loan Portal are described in the primers so a reader can see where vendor software ends, but they are not ranked and this site is not a guide to using them. - Eligibility, SOP 50 10 interpretation or advice on a specific loan. The current SOP, the lender's district office and counsel are the sources for that, and the profiles record only what each vendor says its software checks. - Borrower-side questions, such as how to get an SBA loan, which lender to apply to or what a 7(a) loan costs. Coverage is lender-side software only. - Live pricing, contract terms or implementation timelines. No vendor covered here publishes a price, and each profile says so rather than estimating one. - Lender Service Providers and CUSOs as a category. One is named in a primer as the alternative to buying software, but services are not ranked. ## Questions this site answers directly - What is the best SBA lending software for a community bank? - Which SBA loan origination systems submit directly to E-Tran? - Which vendors generate SBA Forms 1919 and 1920 from the loan file? - What software handles SBA 1502 reporting and secondary market sales? - Which SBA lending platforms name 504 as well as 7(a)? - How do SPARK, nCino and Abrigo differ for SBA 7(a) lending? - Which SBA lending vendors name a bank or credit union customer? ## How to read this site - Every page is published as markdown as well as HTML. It names only 7(a) and publishes nothing on servicing or 1502 reporting. - [Aloan](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms/aloan): Aloan is an AI-native commercial LOS that, on SBA 7(a), 504 and Express files, classifies the borrower package, spreads related entities with K-1 tracing, maps guarantors and assembles a source-traceable credit memo, while the lender keeps eligibility and the decision, whether Aloan runs as the commercial LOS or beside an existing one. It does not submit to E-Tran or service loans; aloan.ai names Buckeye State Bank, Alliance Catholic Credit Union and West Central Bank as customers, none as an SBA reference. - [Baker Hill](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms/baker-hill): Baker Hill NextGen supports 7(a) including PLP, Express and CapLine loans, generates Forms 1919 and 1920 from captured data, submits to E-Tran without rekeying and stores the returned SBA loan number, with spreads and the credit memo produced in the same platform. Its SBA sheet names no 504 coverage and no 1502 or servicing capability. - [Biz2X](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms/biz2x): Biz2X, from online lender Biz2Credit, publishes the widest SBA program list in this category (7(a), 504, Express, Microloans and CAPLines), automatic eligibility verification, E-Tran reporting and borrower portals, and names BayFirst Financial, First Savings Bank and Newity in SBA case studies, though BayFirst exited SBA 7(a) lending in 2025. It describes no servicing or 1502 reporting, and its parent is a direct lender. - [Cync Software](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms/cync-software): Cync Software's SBA page names 7(a) and 504, Forms 1919, 1920 and 1244, four eligibility tests including size standard and credit elsewhere, E-Tran submission automation and Form 1502 automation with secondary market management, inside a commercial lending platform that also spreads C&I, CRE and individual financials. It names no SBA customer and its page figures are demo illustrations. - [DownHome Solutions](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms/downhome-solutions): DownHome Loan Manager is origination and servicing software built for CDFIs, with automated SBA 1502 reporting, SBA Microloan reporting, CDFI Fund TLR reports and Metro 2 files from one system. It names no customers, does not describe E-Tran submission, and is the one vendor here that publishes prices: $160 a month for servicing and $150 for origination, first two users free, plus add-on modules. - [Jack Henry](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms/jack-henry): Jack Henry's commercial lending platform names SBA among its supported loan types, alongside C&I, CRE and ABL, and is the natural question for institutions on a Jack Henry core. Nothing it publishes describes E-Tran submission, SBA forms, eligibility checks or 1502 reporting, and no SBA customer is named. - [Lenders Cooperative](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms/lenders-cooperative): Lenders Cooperative absorbed Ventures Lending Technologies in February 2025, bringing the platform that processed 99.8% of SBA 504 loans in 2024, with direct E-Tran access, 1502 reporting through its Payments product and coverage of 504, 7(a) and Community Advantage, alongside its own commercial LOS and SBA LSP services. The two platforms are still being unified, so buyers should ask which system runs each function today. - [nCino](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms/ncino): nCino runs SBA 7(a) and Express loans as workflows inside its Salesforce-based commercial lending platform, submitting guaranty requests to E-Tran from within the system and executing Form 1919 and IRS 4506-C through DocuSign, with WaFd Bank, PeoplesBank and Coastal States Bank named as customers. Its SBA page does not name 504, Form 1920, an eligibility engine or 1502 reporting. - [Numerated](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms/numerated): Numerated launched an SBA 7(a) solution in October 2022 with pre-filled applications, eligibility validation and automated form generation, and was acquired by Moody's in November 2024. Its domain now redirects to Moody's Lending Suite, whose pages name neither Numerated nor SBA, so buyers should confirm the 7(a) product is still sold before evaluating it. - [PCFS Solutions](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms/pcfs-solutions): PCFS Solutions is the SBA specialist for the post-closing side: its Loan Manager automates monthly 1502 preparation in FTA format, handles secondary market prepayments and late payments, and supports FASB 166 accounting, with BizLendPro for origination and Special Assets Manager for workouts. It publishes no program list beyond 7(a), no founding year and no named customer on its own site. - [SPARK](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms/spark): SPARK is a cloud origination system built specifically for SBA and small business lending, with E-Tran submission, SBA form generation and SOP-driven eligibility checklists inside the platform, and named bank customers including The Bancorp and Bank of Idaho. It publishes no program list and no price, says it has no built-in servicing and does not mention 1502, so it suits a dedicated SBA desk that will service loans elsewhere. - [All vendors, indexed](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/platforms): One row per vendor, with pricing and fit ## Head-to-head comparisons - [SPARK vs Lenders Cooperative](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/compare/spark-vs-lenders-cooperative): SPARK is the better fit for a 7(a) desk that wants E-Tran, SBA forms and SOP checklists configured out of the box and will service loans elsewhere. Lenders Cooperative is the better fit for a 504 lender or CDC, for a 7(a) lender that wants 1502 reporting from the same vendor, or for an institution that wants the option to hand underwriting or servicing to the vendor's own SBA staff while its platforms finish merging. - [Biz2X vs Numerated](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/compare/biz2x-vs-numerated): Biz2X is the choice today for a digital SBA front end: its SBA page names 7(a), 504, Express, Microloans and CAPLines, describes automatic eligibility verification and E-Tran reporting, and its case studies name BayFirst, a top-five SBA lender in 2023 on the platform that has since exited SBA 7(a) lending, with First Savings Bank and Newity. Numerated's 2022 SBA 7(a) solution was real, with eligibility validation and automated form generation, but since Moody's acquired the company in November 2024 nothing published confirms the SBA product is still sold, so it is a question for Moody's before it is a shortlist entry. - [nCino vs Abrigo](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/compare/ncino-vs-abrigo-sba): nCino is the SBA choice for an institution that has standardized commercial origination on its platform, with 7(a) and Express workflows, E-Tran submission and automated data translation from within the system, Form 1919 and 4506-C via DocuSign and four named lenders. Abrigo is the SBA choice for a community bank or credit union that already spreads and rates risk in Sageworks, with E-Tran through its API network, Forms 1919 and 1920 as PDFs, two named banks and more than 400 credit union customers. Neither names 504 and neither publishes 1502 reporting. - [Baker Hill vs Abrigo](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/compare/baker-hill-vs-abrigo-sba): Baker Hill publishes the more precise SBA record: 7(a) with PLP, Express and CapLine named, Forms 1919 and 1920 from captured data, E-Tran submission with the loan number written back, and spreads, cash flow and the memo generated in the same system. Abrigo publishes the larger footprint: two named banks on its SBA page, a PPP result of 318 approved loans, and more than 400 credit union customers, with E-Tran through its API network and Forms 1919 and 1920 as PDFs, but only 7(a) named. Neither names 504 or publishes 1502 reporting. - [Aloan vs Baker Hill](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/compare/aloan-vs-baker-hill-sba-underwriting): Baker Hill is the choice for a bank that wants the SBA analysis and the SBA forms in one origination platform, with spreads, cash flow and the memo generated in NextGen and the E-Tran round trip documented. Aloan is the choice for a lender that keeps its origination system and wants deeper published SBA analysis beside it: package classification, spreading of related entities with K-1 tracing, guarantor mapping and a source-traceable memo for 7(a), 504 and Express, with no E-Tran, no forms and no published SBA reference. - [PCFS Solutions vs Lenders Cooperative](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/compare/pcfs-solutions-vs-lenders-cooperative-servicing): PCFS Solutions is the choice for a 7(a) lender that services its own portfolio and sells guaranteed portions: its Loan Manager publishes FTA-format 1502 preparation, secondary market prepayment and late payment handling, FASB 166 support and a separate special assets product. Lenders Cooperative is the choice for a CDC or 504 lender, with the Ventures platform behind 99.8% of 504 loans, a CDC Annual Report tool, modernized 1502 reporting through its Payments product, and servicing available as a professional service while its platforms finish merging. - [All comparisons, indexed](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/compare) ## Reference - [What SBA lending software does, and where SBA's own systems begin](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/guides/what-sba-lending-software-does): A plain account of the four kinds of product sold as SBA lending software, the government systems every lender uses regardless, and where a Lender Service Provider fits when the answer is not software at all. - [How to evaluate SBA lending software](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/guides/how-to-evaluate-sba-lending-software): The questions that separate an SBA lending system from a commercial LOS with the word SBA on a page: 7(a) against 504 workflow, SOP currency, E-Tran round trips, the 1502 cycle and secondary market sales, and what to ask a reference. - [What changes in an SBA file, compared with a conventional C&I loan](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/guides/what-changes-in-an-sba-file): The specific steps a 7(a) or 504 file adds to ordinary commercial underwriting, from affiliation and the size standard to the equity injection and the guaranty submission, and which of them software can actually take on. - [What SBA lending software costs, and the one vendor that publishes a price list](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/guides/what-sba-lending-software-costs): One of twelve SBA lending software vendors publishes prices (DownHome Solutions, from $150 a month per module), one publishes its pricing basis without figures (Aloan), and ten are quote-only. What each publishes, what SBA itself charges on a 7(a) loan in fiscal 2027, what an SBA program pays for instead when it does not buy software, and how to build a budget from the program's own numbers. - [All reference guides, indexed](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/guides) ## About the publisher - [About SBA Lending Software](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/about): A working reference for the SBA department head, chief credit officer or lending operations lead at a bank or credit union who has to pick the system that will carry a 7(a) or 504 file from application to E-Tran and on into monthly 1502 reporting, and who wants to know what each vendor has actually put in writing before the demos start. - [Method](https://sbalendingsoftware.com/editorial-process): How the candidate list is built, what is checked before a vendor is ranked, and what moves one.
