Correcting a fact

Every factual claim on a vendor page is supposed to trace to something published. If one does not, or if the source has changed, tell us the page, the sentence and the page that supersedes it. A vendor's own SBA product page, an SBA notice, a dated release or a named trade article all work. A correction that arrives with a source gets made and the page is restamped. One without a source gets researched from scratch, which is slower and sometimes ends with the sentence unchanged.

If you sell one of these products

You may correct any fact about your own product. The cheapest ways to move up a page here are also the ones that help a buyer most, and none of them involve a campaign.

• Name the SBA programs your product handles on your own SBA page, including whether 504 is in or out
• State whether E-Tran submission happens inside the product and whether the loan number is written back
• List the SBA forms you generate by number
• Publish whether 1502 preparation and secondary market handling exist, or say plainly that the loan leaves your system at closing
• Name a bank or credit union customer, with asset size if you publish it
• Tell us about a rename, an acquisition or a product that is no longer sold

Suggesting a vendor

Send the product name and one link that shows it doing SBA-specific work at a US lender today. Three tests decide inclusion: the product does part of the SBA lender's job specifically, it can be bought now, and something outside the vendor's own slide deck confirms it is in production.

What we do not do

We do not run selections, broker introductions, negotiate contracts or estimate prices vendors have not published. We do not advise on eligibility, on the SOP or on any specific loan. For that there is the SOP itself, your district office and your counsel.
