Biz2X

SBA-specialist origination

Biz2X, from online lender Biz2Credit, publishes the widest SBA program list in this category (7(a), 504, Express, Microloans and CAPLines), automatic eligibility verification, E-Tran reporting and borrower portals, and names BayFirst Financial, First Savings Bank and Newity in SBA case studies, though BayFirst exited SBA 7(a) lending in 2025. It describes no servicing or 1502 reporting, and its parent is a direct lender.

What it is

Biz2X is the lending platform of Biz2Credit, an online small business lender founded in 2007 and headquartered at 1 Penn Plaza in New York. Its SBA product, marketed as Accelerate SBA, publishes the widest program list in this set: 7(a), 504, Express, Microloans and CAPLines are all named on the SBA page. The page also describes automatic verification of SBA eligibility and E-Tran reporting, omnichannel borrower application software with borrower portals, and AI-enabled underwriting decision support and risk scoring. Biz2X claims 83 financial institutions across the globe and is a Fintech Corporate Member of the Independent Community Bankers of America. Its case studies name three SBA lenders: BayFirst Financial, described as a top-five SBA lender nationally in 2023 with 50 or more applications created a day on the platform; First Savings Bank, for its digital SBA lending program; and Newity, for SBA loan workflows. BayFirst announced its exit from SBA 7(a) lending on September 29, 2025 and closed the sale of $94.6 million of SBA loans to Banesco USA on December 15, 2025, so it is a historical reference rather than a current one. The SBA page itself names no lender. Three things need care. The outcome figures on the SBA page, a 50% reduction in decision times, 2X loan portfolio growth and 15% higher approval rates, carry no methodology and should be read as marketing. Servicing and 1502 reporting are not described. And the parent company is itself a direct lender, which some banks treat as a channel question worth asking before sharing a pipeline. HSBC and Popular Bank appear as testimonials on the corporate page but not as SBA references.

What it does

  • 7(a), 504, Express, Microloans and CAPLines all named on the SBA page
  • Automatic SBA eligibility verification at intake
  • E-Tran reporting from the platform
  • Omnichannel borrower application software with borrower portals
  • AI-enabled underwriting decision support and risk scoring

Strengths

  • The only vendor here that names 7(a), 504, Express, Microloans and CAPLines together on its SBA page
  • Eligibility verification is described as automatic and at intake, which is where an ineligible file costs the least
  • Three SBA lenders named in case studies, with a checkable 2023 outcome for BayFirst
  • 83 financial institutions and an ICBA fintech membership give a community bank buyer something to check

Considerations

  • The published outcome figures (50% faster decisions, 2X portfolio growth, 15% higher approvals) have no methodology behind them
  • Servicing and 1502 reporting are not described on the SBA page
  • The parent is a direct online lender, which is a channel consideration for a bank sharing its small business pipeline
  • The 83-institution count is global, and the site does not say how many are US banks or credit unions

Best when

The strategy is digital intake with automatic eligibility screening, across the whole SBA program list

Biz2X FAQ

Does Biz2X handle 504 loans?

Yes by its own page, which names 7(a), 504, Express, Microloans and CAPLines. It is one of four vendors here to name 504, with Cync, Lenders Cooperative and Aloan.

Is the Biz2Credit connection a problem for a bank?

Biz2Credit is a direct online small business lender. Whether that matters depends on your view of sharing pipeline data with a lender's affiliate; ask how the two businesses are separated.
